24-May 1 Marks the 21st Annual
National Infertility Awareness Week
Local fertility center offers free IVF cycle
and infertility consultations to help
patients start a family
ROSEVILLE, CA
– The Northern California Fertility Medical
Center (NCFMC) is celebrating the 21st
annual National Infertility Awareness Week®
by educating and helping patients reach
their family goals.
National Infertility Awareness Week is a
movement sponsored by RESOLVE, the National
Infertility Association and is designed to
create greater public awareness and
understanding about infertility. Their hope
is to help women and men find the answers
and get the support they need to make
important medical decisions and address the
medical, emotional, social and economic
challenges infertility can present.
Northern California Fertility Medical Center
will celebrate this week by offering a
complimentary In-Vitro Fertilization cycle
(IVF), and three free infertility
consultations at their facility in
Roseville.
“IVF is such a powerful therapy because it
can overcome almost all causes of
infertility,” “For more than half of our
patients, IVF is the only option to have
their own biological children” said Carlos
Soto-Albors, M.D., founding Reproductive
Endocrinologist for NCFMC.
IVF enables fertility physicians to retrieve
mature eggs from a woman’s ovaries,
fertilize them outside of the body and then
transfer embryos back into the uterus. IVF
can result in a successful pregnancy upwards
of 60% of the time.
Data from the Center for Disease Control
(CDC) reveals that more than 7.3 million
Americans, or 1 in 8 couples of childbearing
age are infertile. According to the CDC,
nearly 50,000 IVF babies are born every year
in the U.S.
Since 1992, NCFMC has provided IVF and other
infertility treatment procedures to their
patients from around the world. NCFMC
combines the extensive skill and experience
of three board-certified infertility
specialists and one board-certified
urologist and male fertility specialist with
the most advanced methods and technology
available in the field.
NCFMC’s pregnancy rates are among the
highest in the country and In-Vitro
Fertilization program is the largest IVF
center in the Central Valley. They have
provided quality service in a compassionate
environment for 18 years.
NCFMC will be taking registrations for this
complimentary IVF cycle and three free
consultations until Monday, May 3, 2010.
Interested patients should register by going
